I happen to book this place via make my trip and on booking I realised this maynot be the place I would like to stay in Havelock. MMT did mention that the booking is non refundable, however I checked the hotel policy and realised that as long as you cancel a month prior they will not charge you. To confirm the same I direct call Symphony and the lady said that absolutely we have no issues cancelling as long as make my trip does not have an issue. With this thought I reached out to make my trip and they on the other hand said we have not yet given the funds to the resort so if they email us that they have no issues, MMT is ready to refund in full as I called 2 months in advance. I then again reached out to Symphony and they reiterated that MMT would not allow the same. At this I got very agitated and I tried to get both on the same call. At this instance Symphony's hypocrisy surfaced where they were not agreeing to cancel my booking. They I got connected to their Symphony group director, who convinced us that staying in Symphony is just the right decision and apparently we were upgraded due the various miscommunications and we will get the best that they have. Interestingly, when we reach two month later we were told that the resort received no such communication and we were given a room that was dated and definitely did not justify the price we paid. We then called the director who at that point denied the confirmation and on presenting his own words to him did he then finally upgrade us. Now the best that they had also did not justify the price unfortunately, My experience with Symphony in Havelock was just traumatizing and its a shame that in a place as beautiful as Havelock I and my family had to deal with all this. They came across as scammers to me. However, I would definitely like to mention that the staff (by which I mean the help there in Symphony waiters, waitress) are some of the nicest people I have met. Thus the one star!

Good property with beach access.I booked a lagoon suite.Though suites are old but are decent and comfortable.We mostly took North Indian food and it was good and tasty.Ambience at beach side was good especially at night. Morning buffet breakfast is good and has a good variety. Overall it was a comfy stay and staff was polite and cooperative.

The resort is divided into two parts by a main road which has traffic. We stayed at lagoon suite which is other side of main road and facing the sea. If you have to access restaurant and reception you will have to cross the main road. Pros - Beautiful sunrise at the sea - Accessible to sea so good for morning walks. - A shack on the beach which is good. - Nice patio at lagoon suite to sit and relax. Cons - The beach at this hotel is a rocky beach so not fun for kids if they want to play at beach. - The washroom of our suite was very old and lack the normal amenity like a glass door partition for shower area. - The Radhanagar beach is 20 mins away from this hotel and costs almost 700Rs by Auto for pickup and drop. - Below average buffet breakfast spread and lacks basic breakfast like Live Dosa counter.

Worst property with so many insects like cockroaches, rat and lots of chipkali .pathetic food with arrogant staff specially Manoj.hate the resort will not recoomend anyone hate itttttttt never gooooooo worst completelyyyyyyyy specially kids dont have any activity to do

We were staying in Dolphin Beach Resort and were sent here for candle light dinner. We were served by 2 amazing people Anand and Atul and we loved the experience there. They were polite and there were already 2 other couples with us and these 2 guys managed it all efficiently. Love the experience there.
